Excellency,

Therapeutic cloning can save lives. I join 72 Nobel laureates and dozens of patient organizations, universities, scientific societies, foundations, national academies of science and individuals with life-threatening illnesses and disorders in calling UN delegates to allow additional discussions to address the issue of therapeutic cloning including science in the debate.

I therefore respectfully urge your Country not to adopt an international ban on therapeutic cloning (nuclear transfer) that would inhibit freedom of science, conscience and cures for millions of people worldwide.
