LYMEC launches a Europe-wide campaign against visa
European Liberal Youth has launched a Europe-wide campaign called No Visa. Europe is our home, focused on abolishing tourist and student visas within the European continent.
Although the process of reunifying Europe started to become a reality in 2004, young people from many European countries still face unnecessarily long, expensing and bureaucratic procedures, when traveling to the EU on vacations or for studies. Visa regime negatively affects the youth mobility on the European continent and are an obstacle to the birth of a European civil society.
We, as young liberals, stand for freedom of movement within our continent. Borders have become less and less important and in order to build a truly European citizenship, as well as to build more democratic and stable societies on our continent, people should have the opportunity to travel and study abroad.
The goal behind this campaign is to raise awareness on how visa regime negatively affects the mobility of young people on the European continent and to put pressure on national governments to abolish tourist and student visas among European countries.
The campaign is supported by our member organizations from all over Europe and the European Liberal Democrat and Reform Party (ELDR) . Activities within this campaign will unfold for a year long and will include street actions in Brussels and in other capital cities around Europe, lobby to the European institutions and national governments. Este es el primer paso, en la buena direccion, para que en un futuro no lejano se puedan abrir las puertas de Europa a Africa y Asia.

Desde luego que estáis por el libre movimiento, especialmente de los de ETA-HB por el Parlamento Europeo.
¿Para cuando algo de las juventudes españolas respecto a la negociación con ETA? ¿O es que pensáis que Ciu y PNV son la esperanza del liberalismo español?
Estoy muy decepcionado con estos liberales que se dedican a hacer de escaparateros del nacional-populismo.

A que viene ese comentario Pandemonio?? Que tendra que ver ETA y HB con el post arriba escrito?? Si necesitabas comentarlo pues bien por ti, pero no veo base a tus afirmaciones..

Más pensamiento profundo, esta vez de JSM. ¿Qué tiene que ver el ser buena o mala persona con que uno sea liberal o no? Muy moralizor para un liberal, caballero.
Aunque si seguimos tu propia argumentación, tú debes de ser malo a rabiar, porque eso de no ver más que fachas por doquier sólo puede ser fruto de la mala fe o de no haber conocido a un verdadero facha, claro.
En fin, ya sabemos otro perla del ideario de ciertos jóvenes: si uno es españolista, ya no puede ser liberal; es más, es un fachorro de cuidado. Y todo por hablar de HB. De ahí sí que podría deducirse el amor por la libertad de algunos.-
